Dragon Quest 10 - Magic Nights

Poor Miro is having lots of trouble whilst practicing his smoke rings. He has moved onto a desert island to continue his efforts. Unfortunately, there is a hot desert wind that keeps creeping up on him and turning his smoke rings into a sand storm.

The rules:

1. Miro is still a baby dragon so his sand storms cannot extend for more than two consecutive blocks in each column or row (and Miro’s smoke rings cannot appear in more than two consecutive columns or rows either).
2. His smoke rings can only appear four times in each column or row and the same applies to his sand storms.
3. The same pattern cannot occur in more than one column. The same applies to the rows, separately.

Miro is having a picnic and eating far too much candy. He is on a desert island as it has the best weather for a picnic. Unfortunately, he keeps getting a sugar rush when he eats the candyfloss and a sore tongue when he licks the lollipops.

The rules:

1. Miro keeps getting a sugar rush so he cannot eat candyfloss more than twice consecutively, as displayed in each column or row (and Miro’s Lollipops cannot appear in more than two consecutive columns or rows either, because he gets a sore tongue when he keeps licking them).
2. His Lollipops can only appear four times in each column or row and the same applies to his Candyfloss.
3. The same pattern cannot occur in more than one column. The same applies to the rows, separately.

1. Miro cannot open more than two presents at a time, displayed in the grid as up to two consecutive blocks in each column or row (and Miro cannot play with more than two toys consecutively in each column or row either).

2. His presents can only appear four times in each column or row and the same applies to his toys.

Miro is having tremendous fun during the Festival of Hearts. Creatures are gathering above the frozen landscape of an Ice World. The air is filled with love as families and couples celebrate the season, but Miro has eyes only for his smoke ring Hearts and smoke Arrows. Like all babies, he loves to see happy creatures!

Miro is practising blowing smoke rings on the lava fields beneath the dragon race zone. He is getting rather good at it. Unfortunately, the lava is so hot that his smoke is igniting into a flame which is not normal for a baby dragon.
