in this thread we're calling for your help.

There are miramagicians from around the world,and TG would like to have the chance to celebrate your public holidays with you - but needs YOUR help!
So we're asking you to give us information about the holidays you're celebrating in your country or in your culture.

Ambedkar Jayanti- 14 April- B'day of Dr. BR Ambedkar, a social reformer and helped create the Constitution
Raksha Bandhan- 10 August- this year (keeps changing) celebrates the love and duty between brothers and sisters
Independence Day- 15 August
Ganesh Chaturthi- 29 August- (keeps changing) B'day of Lord Ganesha
Teacher's Day- 5 Spetember- B'day of India's first president, also a teacher

Thank you very much for giving us so much input on the holidays you're celebrating throughout the year.
Your information has been collected and forwarded to TG continually so let's hope that next year we're going to be surprised by a few holidays we haven't been celebrating up to now.

There hasn't been a deadline from TG for the holiday calendar, so if any of you would like to add even more holidays, you're welcome to post them and they will still be forwarded!
