*When having lag or connection problems*

Dear players,

to help us getting a better overview of a lag or connection problem, we need the following information from you:

- date and time the problem has been detected.
- player location (country)
- type of internet access (modem, isdn, dsl, cable, satellite, ...)
- mtr/tracert report

Without tracert/mtr reports, we can't do anything to resolve this problem. The other information is not necessary but very useful.

Tracert is shipped with windows. mtr can be downloaded from http://winmtr.net/download-winmtr/.

  • Using tracert

- Tracert is a command line tool which must be run inside the command shell. To launch the command shell,
press Start -> run, enter cmd and press "OK". Type tracert miramagia.com, press "OK" and wait until the program has finished.
Right click into the command shell to open the menu to select, copy&paste text.

  • Using mtr

- Download winmtr from the location above or use this direct link: http://winmtr.net/download-winmtr/
The zip archive contains only 2 files, one is an executable.
Start winmtr, enter miramagia.com into the "Host" field and click start. The test can be stopped after 1000 packets have been send.
Click "Export Text co clipboard" and past it into your reply email to us.
